A big thank you to everyone involved last Saturday. Over 100 young people signed up to FB Junior Shakers on the weekend and we'll therefore be running a similar event this Sunday too.

As you may have heard, to celebrate Bury's upcoming 125th Anniversary, Forever Bury Junior Shakers has been re-launched as FREE for all u16s.
Saturday marks the offical re-launch of the membership scheme and Forever Bury have organised loads of fun activities, whether your 6 months or 60 years old!
With:
· facepainters and banner painting from Subway
· music and dancing cheerleaders as part of Bury MBC’s Sport Development and Youth Service team
· FIFA 09 on Xbox360s at the Forever Bury Cabin thanks to Gamestation
· AND an ice cream van selling Bury FC themed treats including a Shakers Shake and blue and white ice cream from TheCocktailVan.co.uk, there’s something for everyone!
The festivities kick-off from around 12.30pm onwards, so turn up early and soak up the atmosphere before our biggest match of the season and if you’re under 16, sign up to the FBJS membership scheme free of charge!

To mark the successful re-launch of FB Junior Shakers as a free membership scheme, we will be hosting fun bits and pieces outside Gigg Lane from 1pm on Saturday the 2nd May vs Accrington Stanley.
We're still working on three or four really exciting things that are almost ready to be officially announced BUT what we can confirm is:
* An Ice Cream Van - selling Bury FC themed food - blue & white and chocolate & blue stuff!!
* Facepainters - kindly provided by Subway, so you can all end up of the White & Blue army - Braveheart style!
* Banner painting - paint your own signs to cheer the Shakers on to promotion vs Accrington Stanley!
* Good music from a huge soundsystem, to get you in the mood for the great match ahead!
* Volunteers around the concourse, ready to sign you up for FB Junior Shakers, the absolutely, positively FREE membership scheme for anyone and everyone under 16 years-old!
